Feb. 26th, 2004 04:15 pmLet me just get one thing straight.
I am not the type of person who goes around telling people they're going to hell. That's wrong, and unless someone asks you directly and wants a direct answer, then you should probably never say that.
I am not a 'bible-basher'.I do not go around persectuting those who believe things I don't believe.
I will, however, stand up for myself when I am attacked. I will tell people when what they are saying is wrong. I will show them where it is in the Bible. I will not back down on something I *know* is right. I will not allow someone to be decieved.
I'm sorry to those I offended - I didn't mean to offend you, but I will *not* back down on certain issues. I'm sorry, but that's the way I am, and I would be ashamed to be known as someone who just allows things to happen when Christ commands us to do different.
So yeah. Lay off.
ETA - I do not have issues/problems with people who aren't Christian. I have roughly the same amount non-Christian friends than Christian. I'm not going to say that I don't care that they're not Christian, because I do, obviously, but I would never shove it down someone's throat, and I challenge you to find someone who feels that way about me. And prove it.
