Dinner went well. I wasn't in the best mood, but it worked out fine. I know I'll never be great friends with either of them again, even if I wanted to. We're such completely different people. We don't think the same way, we don't have the same aims. I don't even know if they still go to Church, love God, or still even care.

Not unhappy.

Medical stuff )

No soccer this weekend, thankfully. Give my body time to heal a bit. Might try and walk tomorrow though. See how knee likes it.

I miss my family. I think I miss Gavin the most....oddly. I always miss Mum more. I like being here on my own, but it can be a little lonely at times. Wonder how I'm going to survive at Catherine's for three weeks. It's on the other side of town, so I can't really just randomly visit family. I'll see them on Sunday, Wednesday nights and Friday nights, but I'll still miss them. I think it's just coming home and Mum or Gav greeting me with a smile and a hug, just knowing they're around. I know Mum and Dad are having a great time alone, and they really need this. It's been far too long since they spent time together for any length of time. Now I know why my Father almost yelled at me when I said I was going to marry a truck driver. And when Gavin announced out of childish reverence for his Father that he was going to be a truck driver.

Aww, Gav came online just then. Got to talk for a few minutes before he had to go. I miss him. *cries*

8. Generally tidy and clean.

10. Water plants so Mother doesn't kill daughter when she finds them all dead in a week.
11. Shop for food.
12. Ring Kim - Youth Camp.
13. Browse sale quickly for jeans.
14. Type up 'How to get a Yahoo ID' and 'How to post, reply and do other things in Yahoo Groups' sheets.
15. Create Yahoo Group for Church.
16. Yell at Java on church webpage for not working and not telling me why. (Anyone? Please? Help?)
17. Wash Car.

And that's it for now. I have no doubt it will grow. And take most of Sunday. *sigh*

What a week.

ETA - *eyes list* Hmm. I think I'm going to run out of hours. I think I'll avoid Java. I hate that subject. They go too fast. Hate hate hate!

Am making list of stuff to take to Catherine's. At this stage, it looks like I'm going to have to start packing Sunday because my week is looking *nasty*. Monday is work then lecture - home at 9. Tuesday is Uni till 2:30, home by 4, Homegroup at 7:30. Wednesday I have to go into Uni to hand my assignment in as well as wander around the careers fair, and be at work by 12. Work till 5, straight from there to Prayer Meeting at 6:30, and then follow Catherine home. And in there, I have to finish off four assignments, one of which will probably take me roughly 6-8 hours, according to my tutor.

Did I mention that I hate Java with the fire of a thousand suns?

I don't really think it's Java I hate. Well, I don't like it much as a programming language, but I don't think that's the crux of the issue. I think it's that there is no real one-on-one help. The tutors are great, but we don't have set tutorials, and there are only three tutors between a max of fifty students at a time. And they're only there certain times; usually when I'm in a lecture or tute. I'm going to start going to the tutorials; I'm just not coping, and I refuse to do badly in this class. They're on at 9am Thursday mornings, which is good cause I can go till 10, but it means leaving home *early*. *sigh* Even from Catherine's it's early because of traffic.

Give me Visual Basic anyday.

Bus times

Whee! It's only going to take me 15-20 minutes to get into the city from Catherine's place, thanks to the busway. This is good. It means it should take me all of 30-40 mins to get to Uni, as opposed to 1.5-2 hours.

I should be doing Java. I'll do that as soon as I stop hugging looking up bus timetables. Oh, and then will do Yahoo thing for church.

*avoids church webpage*

*HUG* to SJFic room. You guys made me feel heaps better. Inadvertantly. *g*

If it had said I have an Internet obsession, I would...not have been happy.

Someone who has a good knowledge of Java to help a dumb and slow University student, starting asap.

Will pay in hugs, smooches, and all around flattery, with the occasional post spouting how fantastic they are.

The stupid program won't WORK. *sulk*
