I got my education assignment back.

I got a 6+. *falls over*

The highest you can get is a 7 (High Distinction). I was aiming for about that - I want to keep my GPA of 6 for Education intact.

Whoo!

However, on a weirder note, I got 0 for my comp assignment - the Java one. It worked, too, so that makes *no* sense. I'm going to have to email. him again. *sigh*

Sav went into hospital yesterday morning early. She's had really bad stomach pains for a few months now, getting increasingly worse until she was basically living off painkillers the last two weeks. Yesterday was enough, I guess, and they took her to the Royal Childrens. They did a scan and found a tumour in her abdomen somewhere. It's 8cm long. Savannah is about 5'5 and as skinny as a rake. And only 12 years old.

They're operating this morning.

Update on Sav

She had the operation this morning - the tumour was about 8-10cm long in her stomach. They removed it, and one of her ovaries and one of the tubes. I guess they're just being safe, because they won't know if it's benign or malignant until they get the histo back (histopathology). Not exactly what we wanted, but the doctors said they were pretty confident that it will be benign. She's doing great, apparently.

She gave a list to Sonja (her Mum) of people she wanted to visit her, so I have an obligation now, apparently *g* I'm planning on going in tomorrow afternoon after Uni, probably around 3.

Man, I nearly cried when I heard. She's like my little sister. I'm just glad she's ok.

Java assignment feedback on each part - 'Nothing done.' What my code looks like? Zip. Zilch. Nada. There is *nothing* there. The stupid STUPID system ate my assignment. Either that, he marked the wrong submission. We could submit it as many times as we wanted, and I did twice. The first time had nothing in it because I messed up, but the second one was almost 100% working! And it wasn't the lecturer who marked it, either. It was one of the tutors. I *don't* like him. I never have. He freaks me out.
