I SCORED A GOAL!

Dude, it was so cool. Rachael took it up, and crossed it, but she didn't aim perfectly and it bounced off the goalie's legs towards me - who was about 2 metres from the goal. I just tapped it in, much to the annoyance of the five or so people trying to smother me. Rock. I am so happy. *g*

We won 4-0, but we scored all those goals in the second half. It was so good - we weren't doing that well in the first half - it was so hot, and we just couldn't get the coordination happening. I played forward - I *heart* that position. It's the first time I've actually played forward; last week I was a centre mid but close up on the forward line. It was *so* good. Everyone was like 'Well, we found a position for Heather!' *g* I followed through on one of the other goals, completely confusing the goalie - that was cool. With four backs and two forwards (Rachael and I), I'm pretty proud of that effort.

It was extra cool because my parents were there to watch me. It's only the second full game they've been to in two years. They were stoked :D
