Update - Java, Computer, Ring
Apr. 29th, 2004 02:00 pmThe motherboard and the power supply were the culprits in the latest computer illness. They're being replaced, but it's going to cost a bit. I might not have the computer back for a week or so, we'll see. *bites back rant* So I won't be around for a while. :(
*HUGE HUGS* to everyone who has sent congrats and hugs. I will reply to you all personally when I have 5 minutes and a computer!
Anyone remember that first java assignment I did and got nothing for? Well, he 'located the earlier submission' and I got 5/10! And I got 5 for the one I submitted yesterday, so that makes my total 16/26, which I'm really happy with. I wasn't expecting anything on that first assignment. Maybe it's because I asked if I could have a meeting with him... ;)
I've done one of the two lab assessments due tomorrow, but I can't figure out where to initialise *one* variable, so I have to wait until tomorrow to ask the tutor. Robyn asked me to fill in tomorrow morning, but I've called her and told her I can't. I need these two marks - I *refuse* to fail this subject. I still have one chapter and the other lab assessment to go.
alliesings,
chiroho and
lydkami - I will post a picture of the ring when I get my computer back, and when I get the scanner working!

More Uni Goodness
Apr. 29th, 2004 04:25 pm*eyes next semester*
COMP1300: Introduction to Computer Systems. (Hmm.)
CCST1300: Introduction to Film and TV (Prereq. *sigh*)
MATH1050: Mathematical Foundations (Read: Hardest high school math crammed into one semester.)
EDUC2060: Literature in Secondary Schools (Best of ugliness.)
All in all, a good semester ahead. *facepalms* At least three are first-year courses. And I just found out I only have to do four second-year COMP courses instead of 5. Whoo!
No, I'm not procrastinating. What? *hides*
ETA - I think I might get food.
