Ahhh...

We came second in the Premiership (go US!), so that means we're in the Soccer Finals this weekend and next. I have to work tomorrow at 4pm, which means I have to leave home at three, and that means I have to be home by 2:45 - 3 at a stretch.

J, our manager, tried to get us a 12:30 or 1pm game, but the guy who did it gave preference to the four teams who aren't in the finals. *headdesks*

I really want to play, and they need me because I'm one of the only two forwards, but I've already told my boss, A, that I can work, so I can't really pull out now. J emailed him back and asked him if we could play on the spare field at another field near us at 12:30-1pm and also asked why we didn't get preference. He knows a good deal of our team can't make it at 3pm, including our goalie.

THEY MOVED IT!

We're playing at our original field but at 1pm, which is *fantastic*. I am so happy. Would have like it to start at 12:30, but I'm happy with 1pm. So now I start at 1pm, finish around 3, fly home, shower, change and be at Mt Pleasant by 4. HA. I'm going to be slightly late.

I can play and work! WHOO!
