Warning: Contains Christian stuff. Lots of it. In fact, the whole thing revolves around it. So if this offends you, don't read it.

I had a staff meeting last night, about which I spent many hours moaning about as I was going to miss Homegroup *and* soccer. Was not impressed.

But, 'God turns all things to good for those who love him.' Dude.

It was a productive meeting, addressing issues we needed to. But the best part was at the end.

Robyn, one of our practice managers and the one who's there everyday, and I got chatting. I ended up mentioning that I go to Prayer Meeting on Wednesday nights, and after a few comments either way (I don't entirely remember the conversation) that I went to Northside Christian College. She asked me if I knew Fiona Long, and I said yes - she'd taught me in Grade 10.

It was her daughter! And Robyn is a Christian!

Not a wishy-washy 'I'm a Christian cause I believe in God' Christian, but one who actually prays about things and sees results kind of Christian. She prayed about the staff at her new practice, and she ended up with 70% Christians. Including Doctors. This is so awesome - cause I was not happy at that job because I felt so alone. With Sarah being horrible, and not knowing what the others thought, it was kinda difficult. But this is great - not only is she my boss, but she's really nice anyway.

*hugs God*

My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.

All the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be.
I'm always amazed about how often this is true.

So now you can talk Christian stuff at work!

I know. It's so....unfathomable. Incomprehensible. Amazing :)

God gave me this scripture about a year ago -

Jeremiah 29:11 - ''For I know the plans I have for you,' says the Lord, 'plans to proper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and future.''

*happy sigh*

So now you can talk Christian stuff at work!

I'm excited! We'll have to be careful when and where we talk, because there's one girl who's not a Christian and *really* doesn't like me. But I don't care. She's planning on leaving anyway. *sigh* I don't resent her. I don't resent her. I will have grace. Grace!

GOOD FOR YOU!

Hee! I'm happy :D I was worried at first, cause she said she was a Wesleyan-Methodist, because people who say things like that kinda turn me off cause I know what it sounds like to people who don't know what the heck that is *g* But we talked a little longer and she was telling me how she prays about stuff and talks to God, and I started breathing again. *g* We had a good chat today about it, actually. She was in the same boat as me - she'd prayed about the job, and got it in preference to another one that was better. She started stressing a bit, but was so glad I was there! I share her sentiment - the same thing happened to me. *g*

*hugs God*

That is so awesome. I am so glad that the Lord has done this for you, kiddo.

So, you go to a Christian College? Rob and Claira have made it sound like there aren't Christian Colleges in Australia. I think it's a wonderful opportunity for you. I would love to chat with you some time and compare notes. I think you are the only one of my online friends, except [livejournal.com profile] write4jesus of course, who has gone/is going to a Christian College.

Me too. I was so thankful - it explained a lot of things :)

I did my last two and a half years of High School there. It was awesome. I'd come from an exclusive private Girl's school, that said it was Anglican, but....well....yeah. It was a huge shock to the system to actually be in a place where most people are Christians - and actually act it!

I'd love to chat to you about it! It was a great school. Anytime :)
