Despite your whining, it really was remarkably non-gratuitous for the most part. The R (here in the US) rating was more for the violence in the fighting.
Yes. I was quite surprised that there was not, so far as I saw anyway, one single exposed breast. A small number of butt shots, both male and female, but that's nothing that hasn't been turning up in movies for ages! ;)
No, go see it. It's a really interesting take on the story. Granted, its not as good as the Illied, but it is still a really interesting cinema experience.
