Uni starts tonight! And I'm sick! Yay! Am still going though - I'm not that bad. I just feel all stuffy and blah, but I'm getting better. Tried the whole work thing this morning, and ended up leaving at 11:30 cause I just felt like crap. Slept for a while, so I'm feeling physically better, but I'm not going to push it. Early to bed with me. Dammit, Commander in Chief starts tonight. There's no tute, and I'm driving, so double bonus. Wouldn't go if I wasn't driving in. Not feeling interested in battling buses. Not working tomorrow (only Uni for 2 hours) so I should be ok by Wednesday.[Poll #680895]

I basically found CinC to be a poor West Wing rip off, with poorer plots, poorer acting, and generally slow movement in the show. I mean, for the few that I saw, every single episode went:

- President WOMAN tries to do something
- Evil Republican speaker of the house Donald Sutherland comes up with a dastardly plot to subvert the President to try and make her resign so he can become President
- Things go wrong for the President
- Her family chimes in like they think they're part of the "Days of our Lives" cast
- Everything works out in the end

I mean, it was the same week after week.

If you really want to watch good US political TV, take ANY season (even the bad ones) of The West Wing over this. President Bartlett would run rough shod over President WOMAN any day.

Yet, it has been raining all night (we've had roughly 100mm in the last 24 hours!) and yet I connect at 48kbps this morning. Oddness. It has been windy, so maybe that helped to dry things out...
