I am hideously anti-social right now. And the fact that there's no one online is making me even grumpier. Yes, I know that doesn't make sense.

Saw Pirates II last night...

Overall, I enjoyed it. I didn't like the first half - I don't like bones and gross stuff, and the whole Davey Jones thing was a bit OTT, I think. I think I was a bit over-sensitive that night though, so that might have something to do with it. The last half was great - I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Poor Will. He thinks Elizabeth doesn't love him anymore. Poor Jack, too. I think he's the worse off.

Oh, and CLIFFHANGER OMG. *tears hair*

Oh, and work woes...

L quit her other job, and as we're short staffed, D has rostered her on to work a heap over the next two weeks. We really need her when there are specialists around because it means a staff member is taken out of the equation completely.

Get a call from L this evening, wondering who's free on Monday. I say no one - everyone's working. She asks how long I'm working, and I reply the whole day (8:30am-5pm). She replies that this job she's been going for has asked her to work Monday morning for a trial.

She's rostered on to work with us on Monday morning. Her not being there would mean that C and I would be alone with 6 doctors from about 9:30am, which is far too many for us to handle on our own. So she calls D, who does the rosters, D gives her a serve about it, and tells her we have to sort it out. L calls back, whines about D, so I tell her to just do whatever, and don't worry about Monday. So she's not coming in. Which means that C and I will be run off our feet, considering Monday is our busiest day. At least until 1pm, when D arrives. I'm not going to bother calling D, because she'll just get grumpy about having to work longer, and I've really just had enough of people being grumpy.

I think I'm just going to tell the boss (M) about it when she gets back on Monday. It's not fair on us. I'm back at Uni on Tuesday. I don't need to be exhausted for my first day.
