I have been hearing (and reading) about how wunderbar Macs are lately, and I had a thought. Well, some credit must go to seldear who started me off on this train of thought...but anyway.

What do you hate about Macs? What little tiny thing drives you nuts? What major flaw makes you grumpy?

I want to know! I am trying to convince my husband to buy me considering buying a macBook, and want to know what annoying things they hold. I know they're not perfect. Anyone may comment. Please.

I'm not the one to ask about Macs since I've only ever used one once before in my life, but all I can remember is that it was so, so, so annoying not being able to right-click. Of course, once you get used to the interface, it's probably just as easy-to-use and intuitive as Windows, if not more so.

Now to the business at hand: erm, has Stargate and Starscape, erm, merged...? Don't laugh. I don't really watch it, but I just saw a few minutes of an episode and thought I'd ask since you seem to be knowledgeable in these matters.

Yeah, that was annoying, I agree. Bust basically the way you right-click is by holding down the Control key and clicking. If only we'd known that...

The newer Macs are compatible with normal PC mouses though. The little scroll wheels even work. *g*

Starscape? You mean the game? The plot is very similar to Stargate: Atlantis, I'll agree...

No, I mean the show that (I thought) was cancelled! Don't worry. It's just that I saw two of the Starscape characters on Stargate, and didn't know what to make of it...

Has Stargate and Farscape merged?

HAHA! I'm thinking 'Starscape? Starscape?' *laughs*

Farscape was cancelled about a year ago (or so...). Two of the actors did join the cast of Stargate, yes. Lots of fans watched both the shows, and there was a pretty huge whinge when it was cancelled, and they needed someone to replace Richard Dean Anderson cause he wanted out. I guess they figured it would be good to go with someone who the fans already like :)

Where do I begin? Well, first I should say that I'm biased towards PCs if only because that's what I started out using. I had to use Macs in school and it drove me crazy.

I guess you should really just watch this: it about says it all: Macs suck.

Did that guy eventually die from a heart attack? He has some *issues*.

But I see your point. Troubleshooting on a Mac is nigh on impossible. Hmmm.
